Brian Pryor is a Managing Director at Media Venture Partners and leads the company's data center and hosting practice. Mr. Pryor joined MVP in 2002 and, throughout his career, has initiated and managed a wide variety of corporate finance transactions, including private equity and debt financings, mergers & acquisitions and leveraged buyouts. Mr. Pryor has developed significant industry expertise in data center services, enterprise hosting and mass market hosting. He has developed deep relationships with management teams, private equity firms, lenders and hedge funds serving these sectors.

Mr. Pryor started his investment banking career in the Technology group of Alex. Brown & Sons before serving in a management roles at Beyond.com, an eCommerce hosting provider which is now part of Digital River, and iPhrase Technologies, an enterprise software company ultimately purchased by IBM. Mr. Pryor has over 16 years of transaction experience, has been involved in more than 100 M&A and capital raising transactions and has worked with industry-leading public and private companies and entrepreneurs. Mr. Pryor is frequently invited to speak to industry groups and to the trade press on the subject of company and asset valuations and has appeared at seminars including the IMN Financing, Investing & Real Estate Development for Data Centers Forum, Tier 1 Research's Hosting & Cloud Transformation Summit and MMTC Access to Capital and Telecom Policy Conference and has been interviewed and quoted in publications such as Radio Business Report and the Wall St. Journal.

Mr. Pryor received a B.S. in Finance and Economics, Summa Cum Laude, from Boston College.
